Appreciative Holonics™
Appreciative inquiry applied at every level of a nested system at once, rather than only to the team in the room.
2 chapters · 11,530 words · Narrated
Appreciative inquiry works by studying what is already alive in a system and growing toward it. Holonic thinking says every part is also a whole and every whole is also a part. Put together, they ask an awkward and productive question: when you appreciate a team, whose strength are you actually growing — the team's, the division's, or the individual's, and what happens when those three answers conflict?
A short volume, and deliberately so. It is a method note for facilitators who already run appreciative processes and keep finding that the level they chose to work at was the wrong one.

Elsewhere in the Canon
How this book was made. Many volumes in this house were written with machine assistance. That is the author's declared working method, not a thing found out later, and the practice is itself a published paper with a DOI — Externalized Cognition: A Developmental Theory of Human–AI Co-Creation. The argument, the judgement and the name on the cover are the author's.
